Normally Amazon will have it discounted a day or two after it's out at Casperian. But yeah, I can understand. It's difficult to justify the expense, too, when the story is available for free on-line, but I like to be able to hold the actual book in my hands. All my relatives have given me a bunch of Amazon gift certificates, so effectively I'll get it for free.
Casperian only has the first book out as an ebook, and it's a DRM protected PDF which I won't by. I like to have the option to print sections out and I'm not going to hassle with trying to get around the DRM.
